Who is the Little Triangle-fish?
When "The Little Triangle-fish" by Vagelis Iliopoulos, illustrated by Lida Varvarousi, was first published in 1997 by the Patakis Publishers, no one could foresee the immense success to come, since it was to become the most beloved literary hero of the decade. The Little Triangle-fish is an anti-hero born through a book which succeeded via word of mouth...
- He is different and unique, yet gaining everyone's love and acceptance.
- He lives in the deep, goes to fish school, has friends and stands up to his enemies. He also has a family, discovered slowly throughout his books.
- He is not the super-hero that wins with his strength. He is an anti-hero that prevails thanks to his divergent thinking, his creativity, his wisdom and the love he generously gives.
- He makes mistakes, accepts his friends' criticism and criticizes himself; he does not hesitate to regret and accept his mistakes or improve himself.
- He is contemporary, dealing with today's matters such as acceptance of the foreigner, human rights, environmental hazards, war and the disturbance of worldwide peace.
